Calculate Current density: mm, 4mm2, 10A, A

This can calculate the current density (J) in a wire or conductor knowing its diameter (d) or cross section area (A) and the current (I). It can also calculate the diameter and cross section area knowing the current density and current. You can also calculate the wire current knowing its diameter or cross section area and the current density. Note: the current density field will use the same units of area as the cross section field!     A=π•d²/4     d=2•√A/π     J=I/A

Current density formula says:

•A 2.256758334191 mm (millimeters) diameter wire has a 4 mm² (square millimeters) cross section area. If the current in such wire is 10A (amperes), the current density is 2.5A/mm².
•For 10A (amperes) of current in a wire at 2.5A/mm² current density, the wire diameter has to be 2.256758334191 mm (millimeters) and its cross section area has to be 4 mm² (square millimeters).
•A 2.256758334191 mm (millimeters) diameter / 4 mm² (square millimeters) cross section area wire with at 2.5A/mm² maximum current density can carry at most 10A (amperes) of current.
