online electronic calculator - Ohm's law and much more

DC power calculator

Online calculator for formulas used in electronic circuit design and electrical engineering.

Basic electric calculations:

Ohm's Law, Ohm's Law with power, DC power, AC real power, LC resonant frequency, Capacitor charging/discharging, Capacitive reactance, Capacitive current + reactive power, Capacitor energy, Capacitor Δ energy, RC discharging, Inductor square pulse, Inductive reactance, Inductive current + reactive power, Inductor energy, 2 parallel resistors, 3 parallel resistors

Wire and winding calculations:

Diameter ↔ cross section ↔ AWG, Wire resistance, Wire weight, Current density, Wire R thermal drift

Calculate DC power: 5V, 2A, W

Using this calculation, you can calculate the power of a DC load knowing the voltage and current. You can also calculate the current knowing the power and voltage, and finally, calculate the voltage knowing the power and current.   P=V.I   I=P/V   V=P/I

Enter any 2 values, the 3rd one will be calculated:

Voltage: -0.1 +0.1 -1 +1 -10 +10 -100 +100
Current: -0.1 +0.1 -1 +1 -10 +10 -100 +100
Power: -0.1 +0.1 -1 +1 -10 +10 -100 +100

DC power formula says:

•When a DC load (or a resistive AC load) draws 2A (two amps) current at 5V (five volts) voltage, it's power input is 10W (ten watts).
•If a 5V (five volts) load draws 10W (ten watts) power, its current consumption is 2A (two amps).
•When a load runs at 2A (two amps) current at 10W (ten watts) power input, its voltage is 5V (five volts).
