Ohm's Law calculator

Online calculator for formulas used in electronic circuit design and electrical engineering.

Basic electric calculations:

Ohm's Law, Ohm's Law with power, DC power, AC real power, LC resonant frequency, Capacitor charging/discharging, Capacitive reactance, Capacitive current + reactive power, Capacitor energy, Capacitor Δ energy, RC discharging, Inductor square pulse, Inductive reactance, Inductive current + reactive power, Inductor energy, 2 parallel resistors, 3 parallel resistors, System bandwidth, Bandwidth ↔ rise time

Wire and winding calculations:

Diameter ↔ cross section ↔ AWG, Wire resistance, Wire weight, Current density, Wire R thermal drift

Calculate Ohm's Law: 25.6V, 75kΩ, A

Using Ohm's law, you can calculate the current knowing the voltage and resistance. Ohm's law can also calculate resistance knowing the voltage and current, and finally, calculate the voltage knowing the resistance and current. Works based on well known formulas:   V=R.I   R=V/I   I=V/R

Enter any 2 values, the 3rd one will be calculated:

Voltage: -0.1 +0.1 -1 +1 -10 +10 -100 +100
Resistance: -0.1 +0.1 -1 +1 -10 +10 -100 +100
Current: -0.1 +0.1 -1 +1 -10 +10 -100 +100
Output metric prefix:   Automatic    User-selected

Ohm's Law says:

•When 25.6V (twenty-five point six volts) voltage is applied to 75kΩ (seventy-five kiloohms) resistance, the resulting current is 341.3333333333uA (three hundred and fourty-one point three three three three three three three three three three microamps).
•If a 341.3333333333uA (three hundred and fourty-one point three three three three three three three three three three microamps) current is passed via 75kΩ (seventy-five kiloohms) resistance, its voltage drop is 25.6V (twenty-five point six volts).
•When a resistor passing 341.3333333333uA (three hundred and fourty-one point three three three three three three three three three three microamps) drops 25.6V (twenty-five point six volts), its resistance is 75kΩ (seventy-five kiloohms).
•If 25.6V (twenty-five point six volts) voltage applied to a resistor results in 341.3333333333uA (three hundred and fourty-one point three three three three three three three three three three microamps) current, the resistance is 75kΩ (seventy-five kiloohms).
